Royal Irrigation Department (RID) employed SEATEC and Associate firms to precede survey and detailed design for Mae Na Wang reservoir project, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province for purpose of domestic consumption, agricultural use, fishery and forest damage reduction. The appearance of Mae Na Wang reservoir as follows:

Location                       : Ban Pa Daeng, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province 

Catchment’s Area         : 64.09 m2

Yearly Average Inflow : 35.49 MCM/year

Dam                              : Earth Dam, Zone Type, 8.00 m. Width and 245.00 m. Long

Effective Storage          : 10.48 MCM

Spillway                        : Side Channel with Maximum Flow (500 Years) 200 cms.

River Outlet                   : Y-branch Concrete Still Liner

Irrigation Area               : 18,000 Rai in Rain Season

                                         5,000 Rai in Dry Season

 

Project Survey and Detailed Design the works as follow :

•Revise hydrology study of the project.

•Revise the feasibility study and conceptual preliminary design of the project.

•Revise the engineering survey data and perform additional survey.

•Design and calculation for dam and appurtenance structure.

•Perform the Pre-feasibility for Mini Hydro Power.

•Prepare bill of quantity and cost estimation of the project.

•Prepare technical specifications of the project.

•Perform people participation and seminar.
