The new campus of the Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy (CRMA) at Nakhon Nayok, about 140 km north of Bangkok.
This new campus has been planned and designed by a team of qualified engineers since 1977. The overall area of this campus is about 21,000 rai (8,400 acres) surrounded by the mountains extending from east to north. The facilities have been planned for the total of 18,000 people living in this new campus. The total project cost is about 2,570 million baht. The area is categorized into four major groups, i.e. office and academic buildings, educational and sport training, service center and residential. The total number of building and residential units altogether are over 200.
The main auditorium of the campus is two storey building with the floor area of about 7,600 m2. The roof of this building is of postensioning construction.
The infrastructures and public service utilities in the campus include
1. water treatment system of 19,000 m3/d capacity,
2. water supply distribution system with f300-800 mm pipeline of about 56 km,
3. plumbing system in the buildings,
4. sewerage system with f200-1000 mm culvert of about 23 km,
5. sewage treatment system of 9,000 m3/d capacity,
6. storm drain system with f60-150 mm pipe of about 22 km,
7. solid waste disposal system by 8 m3 collecting truck.
Project Management and Construction Supervision the works as follow :
•Review correntness of all designs
•Preparation of tender documents.
•Preparation of Bills of Quantities.
•Bid management, including pre-bid conference, bid evaluation and recommendation.
•Supervision and management of construction of all works in the project.
•Approval of material to be used in the construction.
•Review and check the shop drawings prepared by the contractors
•Review and approve the as-built drawing as prepared by the contractors.
•Providing loyal advice related to the construction.
