Narrative Description

        The project area is located in Had Yai municipality of Songkhla province in southern Thailand.  The project area consisted of 21.8 sq.km. in the municipality and its vicinity-Zone A and Zone B which have impact on the quality of water sources in Had Yai. The wastewater system of Had Yai municipality will serve the projected discharge for period up-to 20 year and its initial capacity will be 138,000 cubic meter per day

The Work consists of designing of:
1.1 Collection pipe of 0.60-2.00 m. in diameter, 24.54 km.    in length, with 353 manholes.
2.188 Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO).
3.4 up lift stations.
4.1 Wastewater pumping station.
5.1 Forced main pipe of 1.50 m. in diameter and 9.5 km.in length.
6.1 Wastewater treatment system (oxidation pond and wetland).
7.1 Pump Sump with 1 elevated tank.

Services Description

Project supervision of design including construction the works as following :
•Analyse the information relating to  socio-economics, land use, quality and characteristics of water supply & distribution system, wastewater collection & treatment, quality of the ground water, topography, hydrogeology, drainage system, environmental impacts and related data to help with the conceptual design.
•Review the detailed design prepared by the contractor and to provide comments for improvement or approval.
•Manage and to supervise the construction operations to ensure compliance with pre-determined engineering standards.
•Supervise trainings and seminars.
•Supervise setting laboratory layout specifications of equipments, glassware and chemicals, methods of sampling and analysis to ensure compliance with the results and comments of the reports of studies, designs and constructions by PCD's approvements.
