Narrative Description
Had Kanghan Wind Farm 126 MW Project located along the eastern shoreline in Pak Phanang and Huasai District in Nakhon Sri Thammarat Province and Ranot District in Songkla Province. Had Kanghan wind farm is a wind power generation project and consists of 70 wind turbine manufactured by Vestas with total capacity of 126 MW. The turbines are proposed to be located approximately 1 kilometer apart and not more than 1.50 kilometers from the seashore. The construction sites are used to be prawn farms and general condition of soil is soft clay.
Services Description
Design Consultancy services had divide in to 3 Phases
Phase 1: Conceptual/Preliminary Design,
-Review and Analysis of wind turbine design loads and wind turbine details provided by Vestas, Geotechnical reports for each of the 70 wind turbines foundation, and Consideration to the requirements of applicable codes and standards.
-Concept Design Report: Review and approval the wind turbine foundation concept design report inclusive of Code and Standard, Design Requirements, Foundation Minimum Stiffness Requirements, Design of Piles, and Integration with Tower Crane Foundation.
-Preliminary Design: consist of General structural drawing notes, Pile arrangement for each foundation’s different capacities, Footing on piles layout foe each foundation’s different capacities, Foundation Reinforcement details each foundation’s different capacities, Tower Crane Foundation and details of integration with WTG foundations, Outline Specifications, Preliminary Cost Estimate, Permits and Authorities Approval.
Phase 2: Detailed Design and Tender Documents
-Structural Drawings: General structural drawing notes, Pile arrangement for each foundation’s different capacities, Footing on piles layout foe each foundation’s different capacities, Foundation Reinforcement details each foundation’s different capacities, and Tower Crane Foundation and details of integration with WTG foundations, Outline Specifications.

Phase 3: Assistance and Clarifications Services,
To assist the Client in the design clarification process with the Owner Engineer (OE) and Lender Technical Advisor (LTA) required for the approval of Wind Turbines Foundation Design.
