The objective is to set up a well-equipped laboratory and having qualified personnel sufficient for analysis of water and sludge samples taken from the collection system and the treatment plant. The services consists the following tasks:
•Laboratory Facilities and Equipment Setting Up.
•Laboratory Staffing.
•Analysis Setting.
•QA/QC Planning.
•Laboratory Management Setting.
The services provided by the Consultant are as follow :
Laboratory Facilities and Equipment Setting Up
•To consider suitability of the existing layout design and to recommend some change.
•To consider appropriateness of the existing furniture specifications and comment.
•To consider and to comment on the existing specifications of instruments, equipment, and chemicals specification.
•To examine the infrastructure e.q., hydro-powered system, electrical powered system, gas-fired system, ventilation system, space uses.
•To supervise in acceptance of all purchased items.
•To supervise installation.
•To recommend matters concerning treatment of laboratory wastes.
Laboratory Staffing
•Prepare job descriptions and personal qualification of all the Laboratory staff.
•Supervision for recruitment and selection of all laboratory staff
