Narrative Description

Chainat Province was being effected by flood water during the raining season when water from the Chapraya River overflow and made water influx in the sewer system. The Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning had a policy for flood protection and assign the consortium to study as flowing:
1.Master plan study of flood protection and drainage system in the municipality and community areas to a total 14 municipalities in 
the province of Chainat. SEATEC was assigned to work on 6 municipalities.
2.Feasibility study of flood protection and drainage system of 
3 Municipalities. SEATEC was assigned to work on Sappaya.
3.Detailed design of flood protection and drainage system of 3 Municipalities. SEATEC was assigned to work on Sappaya.

Services Description

Consultancy services for master planning, feasibility study, and detailed design including :
•Prepare Master Plan for flood protection and drainage system consisting of report on review for previous Master Plan Study, data collection, survey of physical data, study survey and forecast of Hydrology, study and planning for problem condition and solution, Conceptual Design of flood protection and drainage system including preliminary cost estimation, analyze and evaluate the benefit comparison based on economic and socio-economic situation, propose operation plan and budget for flood protection and drainage system.
•Prepare Feasibility Study for Flood Protection and Drainage System consisting of report on review for previous Master Plan Study, data collection based on mapping of topographic/Arial photo, physical survey, flood study, data analysis for Meteorology, Hydrology and Hydraulics, data survey for Feasibility Study for Flood Protection and drainage System, analyze and find solution, Preliminary Design, attitude survey for people who get benefits and impacts and preparation on IEE report, compare the alternative of economy socio-economy environment and engineering, propose work plan, and prepare workshops meeting.
•Detailed Design of Flood Protection and drainage System consisting of data survey for design, land and property survey on construction area, detailed design and prepare drawings, cost estimation, prepare construction plan, prepare tender document, prepare operation manual and maintenance system, prepare construction permit document and prepare material public relation for knowledge opinion.
