Airport of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) submitted an EIA report of the Chiangmai International Airport Development Project (expand runway 300 m at north site) to The National Environmental Board and the report was approved in condition that all mitigation and monitoring measures those submitted in the report must be implementation both construction and operation phase. For this reason, SEATEC is a selected firm by AOT to monitor an environmental status of Chiangmai International Airport in operational phase in fiscal year 2008
Project Environmental Quality Monitoring the works as follow :
1. Reviewing mitigation and monitoring measures those submitted in an EIA report of the Chiangmai International Airport Development Project.
2.Checking a currently status of the project components / a result of implemented activities according to submitted mitigation and monitoring measures in EIA report
3. Analyzing and evaluating results of implemented activities according to submitted mitigation and monitoring measures in EIA report and suggesting practical mitigation and monitoring measures.
