Narrative Description

   The project is proposed to assess the impact of the change in project capacity from 725 MW to 828 MW  of which the EIA report of the 725 MW power plant  has been approved by ONEP at the meeting held on 5/2006 on March 7, 2006.
   The Project will be constructed in the existing area of Ratchaburi Power Plant located in Phi Kun Thong Sub-district, Sam Ruan District and Ban Rai Sub-district, Damnoen Saduak District and Ban Sing sub-district Photharam District of Ratchaburi Province. The area is approximately 2,158 rai.

Services Description

Environmental Impact Assessment for the project include the following:
•Reviewed the data changes form the existing EIA due to the change in capacity of the power plant.
•Study the existing condition of environmental resources/value and assess the impact form the change in project capacity regarding the main issues such as Air Quality, Water Used, Wastewater Management, Socio-economic and Public Participation.
•Reviewed the existing mitigation measures and environmental monitoring measures, and provide the additional measures to reduce the impact caused by the change in project capacity.
