Environmental Impact Assessment Report of Ratchaburi Combined Cycle Power Plant Project (725 MW)

Narrative Description

   The expansion of Ratchaburi Power Plant (1 x 725 MW) is the combined cycle power plant using natural gas as primary fuel and diesel as secondary fuel. The project will be constructed in the existing area of Ratchaburi Power Plant located in Phi Kun Thong Sub-district, Sam Ruan District and Ban Rai Sub-district, Damnoen Saduak District and Ban Sing sub-district, Photharam District of Ratchaburi Province. The expansion project area is approximately 70 rai at east of Power Plant.

Services Description

Environmental Impact Assessment for the construction of the project includes the following:
•Collection of relevant data and reconnaissance survey of the project site.
•Study of the existing condition of environmental resources/value in the study area covering physical resources, biological resources, Human Used Value and Quality
of Life
•Survey of Attitude, Public Opinion from the target area which may effect by the project. Prepare Public Participation Project plan.
•Assessment of the impact from project expansion development to environmental resources/value and risk assessment during construction and operation phases.
•Recommendation of mitigation measures to reduce the adverse effects and environmental monitoring program.
