Narrative Description

       The Environmental Impact Assessment Study in Dawei Industrial Estate covers to 6 zones as Heavy Industry zone area 24.30 sq.km., Oil and Gas Industry zone area 13.79 sq.km., Petrochemical Industry zone area 28.77 sq.km., Medium Industry zone area 62.29 sq.km., Light Industry zone area 348 sq.km., and Township zone area 7 sq.km. The objective of the project consists of:

1)To integrate environmental in process of planning and alternative study for project     location, technology design, and environmental impact and social that may occur. 2)Determining unsolicited factors for environmental impact by review of the ecological and during the construction phase include during the implementation of the Industrial Estate.
3)Preservation of historical landmarks, cultural, and natural.
4)Evaluation of the project that affect border area between the country and the world.
5)Determine environmental management plan cover project area during construction phase, implementation of the Industrial Estate include environmental monitoring and reporting terms.

Services Description

The services included the following works:
•Screening and Scoping 
  Review existing study, site visit, identify key needs and    concerns, and defile scope   of EIA.  
•Study of Existing Environment
•Assessment of Environmental Impacts 
 Impact   identification, alternative identification, finalization    alternatives, prepare mitigation measures, prepare    environmental monitoring program.
•Public ParticipationIdentify stakeholder, develop public   consultation and disclosure plan, public participation   activities, public consultation meeting.
•Prepare EIA Report
