Sub-Consultancy Services for Environmental Study for Detailed Design of Sihanoukville Port Urgent Rehabilitation Project

Narrative Description

The Sihanoukville Port Urgent Rehabilitation Project is the most significant Project undertaken by the Cambodia Government.  The environmental Impact Assessment of the Sihanoukville port project has been established and approved by the Ministry of Environment of Cambodia Government and therefore, all the required construction works must be programmed within the approved framework identified by the said EIA. Among other related to environment, possible effects on the coastal environment by reclamation, dredging and dumping dredged soil will be focused in the formulation of construction program for the project.

Services Description

The scopes of services are as followings:
•To review environmental impact study by the revised construction program, dredging and reclamation in particular and determine whether to produce beneficial or adverse effects during construction.
•To recommend the proper mitigation measures, in order to eliminate or minimize the adverse impact and maximize the positive effects including the monitoring programs.
•To prepare the detailed design Report regarding on the review on the previous Environmental Impact Assessment.
