Narrative Description

   The Chao Phraya River basin occupies most of the northern region and central part of Thailand.  The main purpose of the study is to develop an integrated project for the Chao Phraya River and its tributaries aiming at upgrading of the navigation conditions, generation of optimum hydropower, improvement of irrigation water supply and development of other facilities such as tourism.
