The project aimed to construct the suitable fishing port with shelter and accessibility to accommodate the fishing boat in Khlong Wan district for landing throughout the year. The components of the project consist of Breakwater with arc-shaped and 1,905 m. in length, Fishing pier with the berth length of 364 m., Service pier, Dredging of navigation channel and berthing area to the depth of -3.3 m LLW, Accessed road from the existing road to the fishing pier with the length of 655 m., Buildings and facilities such as office building, guard house, weighing bridge, auction and packing building, toilet, wastewater treatment plant, etc.
Scopes of services are as followings:
•Data collection on existing condition of marine transportation and tourism in the Khlong Wan area and forecast the trends in future
•Topography, hydrographic survey
•Mathematical model
•Proposed 3 suitable alternatives for best selection
•Preliminary detailed design, cost estimation and maintenance cost
•Economic study
•Recommendation on port management
•Environmental impact study and propose mitigation measure.
