Environmental Impact Assessment and Detailed Engineering Design for the Expansion of Songkhla and Phuket Deep-Seaports Project

Narrative Description

1)Songkhla Deep-Seaport
Expansion of deep-water port for container cargo at another one Length 180 m. width 30 m. increase in length from 510 m. to 690 m., silo size 6720 sqm.  The old port improvements to accommodate gantry crane capacity of 40 tons. 120 m. wide navigation channel improvement length 4 km 9 m. deep including boat basin to 300 m. in diameter. Expansion of breakwater 300 m. long and 56 rai of land reclamation for container yard and container freight station (CFS).
2)Phuket Deep-Seaport
Improve the existing port. The separation of passenger or tourist activities of cargo handling activities.Including the construction of one passenger berths 3.50 m.wide  40 m. Long, harbor patrol , wharf raft carrying latex,  one passenger building area 1,620 m2 including road and utilities improvements within the project area.

Services Description

Project Servey Detailed Design and Environmental Impact Assessment Study the works as follow :
•Review Feasibility Study on Economic Engineering and Environmental Impact Evaluation for Construction of  the Ports.
•Field survey of hydrological and hydrographic, geological, sources of material and mathematical models.
•Review the future needs of water transportation between the countries. Including channel of water, volume,  quantity and type of product, the port and other related services.
•Assess the cost of investment, recommendation, time cost, maintenance and other related tasks.
•Experimental studies with mathematical models, and more to evaluate the precipitation forecastsand consolidation of the earthwork of a dredging disposal.
•Study and preparation of the environmental impacts assessment report of expanding the port of Songkhla and Phuket.
•Detailed design engineering work of dredging the sea filled with all the details of this position for unloading. Estimated cost of construction and preparation of tender documents.
•Study of project management, rates, the port and other related services.
•The matter in the region to acknowledge their opinions and suggestions of the people. And those involved with the project.
•Marine Department officials trained in project planning methods, systems analysis is possible and prioritization of projects as well as the use of a computer program to evaluate the finished project.
