Seacon Square Shopping Center is a big shopping center having an area of approximately 80 rai located on the Sirinakrindra Road, Suan Luang District, Bangkok. As the location is in the area of high subsidence, the area has drainage problem of the water flowing in especially during heavy rain. Also there will be BMA project for improving Sirinakridra Road by raising approximately 60 cm in the future resulting the shopping center area becoming a frying pan like basin and making more difficult to drain out the water from the shopping center area. Therefore the Seacon Development Public Co. Ltd. has hired the Consultant Company to conduct study, survey and preparation of preliminary design for flood protection and drainage systems in the area for immediate and long term to accommodate the impact from the raising of Sirinakrindra Road of the present construction phase (Phase 1). The Consultant company is responsible for:
1.Works on improvement and solving of water problem flowing from the Parking area into the drainage system.
2.Works on solving the flooding at the Exit 3 (without raising the road).
3.Works on improvement and solving of flooding problem in area at the back of the Parking.
4.Works on improvement of the existing main drainage system.
The scope of services are as followings:
Pre-construction phase services:
•Details for BOQ and construction cost estimate.
•Selection of construction contractor.
•Assist in tender document and bidding process.
•Prepare construction plan and staff planning.
During construction phase services:
•Review and approval for shop drawing and as-build drawing.
•Tesing and approving materials.
•Conduct site metting , construction management with construction plans.
•Commissioning test and approving works.
