Consultancy Service for Design and Construction Supervision of Office Building 8 Floor

Narrative Description

This project is a 7-storey office building with a usage area approximately 8,450 sq.m. The building compose of office, computer room, training room, meeting room, banquet hall, Process room, such as Engineer Process, Cleaning Process, Fill process, LB Process. In addition, there is a room for utilities such as electrical room, water pump room, as well as park on rooftop.

 

Services Description

The services included the following works:
•Manage and control construction according to drawings and specification
•Construction and installation inspections and testing in electrical, mechanical and sanitary systems at every stage of the work, as well as providing advice and solving problems.
•Consider requesting for materials approval and equivalent items from construction contractors
•Assess work progress to present to the owner
•Consider approval for Shop Drawing of construction contractors
•As-Built Drawing approval of construction contractors as actually constructed
•Recommend, suggest, improve or change construction methods of contractors
•Coordinate with designers in order for work efficiently and correct according to principles
•Meeting with construction contractors and employers and or designer to follow up on the work and resolve any problems that occur in order to complete work
•Consider work plan and check every step of the work as well as expedite contractor to be in accordance with the contract.
•Solve problems that occur during construction which may be an obstacle of work
•Propose the inspection committee to stop the work when it considers that there will be a disruption to the construction.
•Inspecting materials as specified in the construction contract
•Deny (Reject) tasks that are not conform to standard
•Consider approval for work of subcontractors (if any)
•Check variation cost and consider assessing for claim (if any)
•Prepare meeting report of the work in the construction project every time throughout the period until work completed.
•Summary of project documents when the employer approve the final work of the entire construction contract
•Evaluation of construction work for each payment of the project construction
•Consult with the employer if coordinating with government agencies which involve in the construction of the project.
•Control the safety of the project construction to be in accordance with the law which relating to construction
•Follow up and coordinate with the owner and construction contractors during the guarantee period of the construction contractor
•Prepare Monthly Reports by receiving supported information from the construction contractor
